I’M SHINAH👋

I used to be a miserable corporate lawyer, desperate for more creativity. (That’s that buttoned-up black and white photo you see.)

Now, I make my living doing and teaching the art of modern calligraphy. (Even after 8 years, I still can’t believe I get to say that).

My approach is

  • ✅ PRO: fun, expressive, swear-words… and

  • ❌ ANTI: perfectionist, elitist, and “proper”
